Let It Be Episode 11: Judgement

LetItBe-Ep11-Post

This is one of those episodes where we don’t have the ‘answers’ because we’ve not worked through this one fully ourselves – so it makes for an interesting (and sometimes excruciating) conversation!

Brooke kicks off by being very hard on herself about how she was once a prisoner of her own ignorance (!!). She shares how being judgemental has cost her happiness, friendships and connection. She also talks about how advice from her mum has helped turn it around.

Me – well I’m one of those people who thinks that in being open-minded I’m not that judgemental. But the reality is, I’m as judgy as the next person. (It’s what you do with the judgy-ness, however, that matters … right?)

We also cover the perils of judging everyone by our own values and ponder whether some of the things we consider judgement are often simply a difference in opinion.
